VAZHAMALA Vazhamala is an unexplored beautiful place in Panoor, Kannur district. This place has many quarries too. Visitors must make it a point to reach here early morning to experience the breath-taking beauty shrouded in foggy weather. Rain if present just enhances the beauty of Vazhamala. At present this enchanting place is visited only by the locals since it remains unknown to even those in Kerala. There are no restaurants or accommodations nearby.Lately people have started coming here after hearing about Vazhamala through local channels and social medias. The Thirukkayam waterfall is just 10km away from here in Vilangadu, Kozhikode district. Vazhamala is as beautiful as Paithalmala. The roads here are pretty well maintained.
