It is highly recommended that; we can go for herbs and medicinal plants cultivation in the other half of the land which is available in the property. There are certain plants which had good demand from Ayurveda medicine manufacturers in Kerala, and this cultivation are easily funded by financial institutions of the State and Center.
The production of medicinal plants being labor intensive generates increased employment opportunities for the farmers particularly the rural masses and enhances their incomes. Growing medicinal plants is much more remunerative as compared to growing cereals, horticulture crops etc.
